The function of the Kentucky Health Benefit Exchange (KHBE) is to oversee the Commonwealth's implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Through the Exchange, individuals in Kentucky can be connected to shop for health insurance, compare costs and plans, and apply for premium subsidies and tax credits. Individuals can also determine their eligibility for Medicaid and the Kentucky Children's Health Insurance Program.
