Habitat for Humanity of Henderson, Ky helps build safe, decent and affordable homes for low-income families in the community. There is a process to becoming a homeowner which starts with applying during the annual housing fair each year. Habitat also runs a ReStore that accepts merchandise donations such as beds, appliances, doors, cabinets, furniture and more. Habitat sells the items at low discounted prices to the public. Those proceeds are then used to help put more money towards building homes in the community as well as keeping the lights on and maintaining a small staff.

To qualify, you must be willing to partner with Habitat for Humanity of Henderson, Ky, and be a part of something great, something unique. Your family will be fully involved with learning how to put together the building blocks needed to start building a better future for themselves and the family. The Restore can be found online or by visiting 1030 Third Street in Henderson. Hours are:

Monday: 11:00 am-5:00 pm

Tuesday-Friday: 9:00 am-5:00 pm

Saturday: 9:00 am-2:00 pm
